May the 2nd saw the first Wannabe warriors walking football group take place. 

There was a fantastic response and 12 players turned up to have a go. Many not knowing anyone, and many not having played or taking part in physical activity for some time. 

Everyone gave it their all, and all seemed to enjoy the session.

A big thank you to the Miners for putting on tea and coffee, and thanks to the ladies Hot-Steppers Walking Football for their advice, and warm welcome.
